Use this page as a guide to how No Bloat handles allergen information across the website and on pack.
For the most accurate decision, always check three things: the individual product page, the latest partner checkout listing where relevant, and the physical packaging you receive.
If you are managing a diagnosed allergy or severe intolerance, treat a general policy page as supporting information, not as a substitute for the product-specific label.

How we present allergen information

Each No Bloat product page shows the ingredients list, nutrition information and an allergen statement before purchase.
Current product-page wording includes: “For allergen information, see ingredients in BOLD. Made in a factory that uses cereals containing gluten (including barley & oats) and soybeans.”
Different meals have different ingredient profiles. Some recipes carry factory-use statements, and some recipes also contain regulated allergens directly in the ingredients list.

Question 3

The 14 regulated allergens

In the UK, food businesses must identify 14 regulated allergens: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide or sulphites above the legal threshold, and tree nuts.
On prepacked food, allergens should be emphasised within the ingredients list so they are easier to spot, on No Bloat products they are highlighted by being in bold text.
Not every sensitivity or intolerance is part of the regulated allergen list, so if you react to ingredients outside the legal 14 allergens, read the full ingredients list as well as the allergen statement.

Question 4

Cross-contact and factory environment

Accepted Answer

Some No Bloat meals carry a factory-use statement relating to cereals containing gluten, including barley and oats, and soybeans.
That wording matters because cross-contact can happen during manufacturing, handling, storage or transport, even where an allergen is not intentionally added to a specific recipe.
Where a product carries a precautionary or factory-use statement, please take it seriously and make your decision based on the specific wording shown for that meal.

Question 5

Low FODMAP, plant-based and allergy information are not the same thing

Accepted Answer

Monash University Low FODMAP certification relates to FODMAP content at the recommended serve. It is not the same as an allergen-free claim. Our products are low FODMAP not no FODMAP, therefore if you are allergic to an ingredient you know to not be a FODMAP you still need to ensure they are not on our ingredients list prior to purchase of consumption
Likewise, plant-based or vegan positioning does not automatically mean a product is free from regulated allergens or free from cross-contact risk.
If you are making a food-allergy decision, rely on the ingredients list, allergen statement, precautionary labelling and professional medical advice where appropriate, not on broader marketing descriptions alone.

Question 6

Ordering online and through partner checkout

Accepted Answer

No Bloat currently uses partner checkout routes for some purchases. Before you complete an order, review the product information shown on both the No Bloat page and the partner listing where relevant.
When your order arrives, check the packaging again before consumption. This matters because distance-selling journeys should provide allergen information before purchase and again at delivery.
If anything looks unclear or inconsistent, contact us before eating the product.
